The White Linen Cocktail

What would Trina Turk drink at New York Fashion Week in September? Where would she stay?

On September 3rd, Trina will show her Spring 2014 line at NYFW. We figured her taste is more downtown than uptown and she would pick the Crosby Street Hotel.

Firmdale Hotels‘ kitsch-but-classy English elegance has extended beyond London and the colors are magnificent adding substance beyond the cast iron facades and cobbled roadways of this former artist’s commune in Soho. The bar is fresh, contemporary and comfortable.

Her cocktail of choice….The White Linen which actually originated in California —> 1-1 1/2 oz. Hendricks Gin, 5-6 thin slices of Cucumber, Egg White, 1 oz. Lemon Juice, 1 tsp. Sugar, Cracked Black Pepper. Combine all ingredients in a shaker & shake well. Strain into a highball glass with ice, top with soda water, garnish w/ cucumber. Perfect poolside as featured in our Mid-Century Modern End-Of-Summer Soiree.
