Susan Feniger teams up with Intrepid Travel at the Hollywood Farmers Market

Perfect timing for the weekend and with perfect weather this time of year, it is certainly time for a visit to the Hollywood Farmers Market. Founded in 1991, this market became an immediate success – hosts 160 farmers, producers and food artisans who specialize in every crop that’s grown seasonally around the state and every culinary perspective and practice from around the globe.

Everyone from local families who live in the neighborhood to some of Southern California’s most respected chefs use the market as their weekly food source and walk-in pantry. This is likely why you will find chefs like Susan Feniger (Top Chef Masters, Too Hot Tamales) there often, gathering food for kitchen. Her love of global street food lead her to open her restaurant Street in 2009 and she has signed on to be Intrepid’s “ambassador” for their India Food Adventure trip.
