Rodriguez plays live show in LA during tour and excitement of Oscars nomination

The Golden Globes have come and gone, but the Oscars are approaching. Yes sir, ladies and gentlemen, award season is in full swing. The Academy Awards are the most anticipated and most coveted of them all. Often, one of the most overlooked category is documentaries.

If you have not watched Searching for Sugarman, it is an extraordinary film about second chances in life, truth and hope. Said to have a winning chance for the Oscar in it’s category, the film chronicles the efforts of two Cape Town fans, Stephen “Sugar” Segerman and Craig Bartholomew Strydom.
