Creative Visions Foundation's - TURN ON LA

It was the best year ever for CVF, being held at a new venue, the Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. The theme was eclectic – not your typical stuffy red-carpet fundraiser, but warm, with a sense of community, filled with a crowd of film makers, politicians, celebrities and the growing global “tribe” that loves CVF. Notable guests and speakers included, activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr., film maker Kweku Mandela and actress Maria Bello. Meals were served family style in tagines of African, Moroccan and Middle Eastern fusion. There were live performances by opener Holly, The Landfill Philharmonic kids from Paraguay and hit singer LP. Staff made gift bags, were simple, sustainable and “au natural” with a different Masai bracelet for everyone, created by African artisans. Check out one of the many press features, by The Local Malibu, The Hollywood Reporter and The Malibu Times. ~Event Coordination, Red Carpet & Media Relations. All photos by Ian Bailey.
