Luscious Neutrals :: Inspiration from Ojai Valley Inn & Spa

Luscious complex neutrals give relief from sensory overload. Gold, apricot, beige, silver, foliage, sugarplum, pearl and blush. These are just a few of the colors present in the palette we created. As the summer winds down, it is a time of transition. We start looking towards the fall, but colors such as these can be infused any time of year into an event.

Inspiration was taken from the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, just north of Los Angeles, one of the most beautiful and natural resorts in the US. Although the resort was built in the 1920’s the town go’s back even further. Ojai’s charms are many. The community has long been known as a haven for artists, musicians and health enthusiasts.

It is also a popular destination for weddings.  One of the favorites on their catering menu is the Crab Cakes with Old Bay, so sharing a simple recipe.
