Chicago :: Windy City Picks Spring is marvelous in Chicago. I was here for a conference in April and found some great new hot spots. RPM Steak :: Their motto is “Lettuce Entertain You.” The service is impeccable from the moment you walk in. Eat at the bar. It is completely 360 degrees around and really emphasizes conversation with both the staff, other guests who your with, for a real fun, sexy dining experience. Giuliana and Bill Rancic have done a fabulous job with the food & wine menu. The dessert: I dare you to find another restaurant that has a chocolate cake with gold flakes, Boston creme donuts, and cotton candy all on the dessert menu. NoMI Kitchen :: Voted one of the “Best Hotel Restaurants Around The World,” NoMI Kitchen, at the Park Hyatt Hotel, is one of the top restaurants in Chicago. There is nothing more fabulous than sitting at one of the windows, overlooking Michigan Avenue, dining with friends, on a date or celebrating a special occasion. Innovative cocktails, modern design, wonderful sushi, not to mention a serious charcuterie plate. Transporting. Rose All Day @ The Hampton Social :: These guys bring the best of the East Coast to River North in a totally gorgeous setting. Lets just say, they have the aesthetic totally down. Tuesday-Friday, from 3 to 6pm, it is half-price pizza and rosé. The “Montauk Mac” is a must. Chicago is not only a drinking and dining city, but it is a walking city, so take advantage of all of the awesome architecture, sculpture and art there is to offer. If you get the chance, a toast to the sunrise on Lake Michigan is well, pretty special.
