Film stars and musicians turn out big at Global Green 10th Annual Pre-Oscar bash

Hollywood’s elite activists and green-minded glitterati came out on Wednesday night to celebrate in honor of Global Green USA’s 10th Annual Pre-Oscar’s bash. The Avalon Hollywood, more known as a rock n’roll nightclub, turned beacon for electronic music – was transformed into a botanical garden, complete with “eco-dressed” dinner tables. Proceeds from the evening benefitted Global Green’s work to build greener, more resilient homes, schools and communities in areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

The evening started with a VIP-reception, with celebrity arrivals and DJ Shy spinning in the “Volt Lounge.” Bold-faced names who stepped out on the green carpet included, Helen Hunt, who looked stunning in an emerald lace dress, as well as Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, Emmy Rossum, Ed O’Neill, Dylan McDermott, Sophia Bush, Josh Radnor and Catt Sadler, among others.
