Melanoma, is the cancer we see, but no one talks about. This is why Kevin West hosts a golf fundraiser in Los Angeles every year. The tournament is the fulfillment of a promise made to Kerry Daveline, to combine Kevin and his shared passion for golf with the fight against melanoma.

Kerry, an actor-singer, was known for his humor, his Notre Dame caps, and his habit of befriending strangers. In 2003, Kerry lost his 5 year fight with Melanoma, and in 2004, the first Hack n’ Smack was held. The event is presented by the Actors Network, which is why it is no surprise that many celebrities come out to support.
